Building Bridges: The Health Professionals and Journalists Media Resource Project in Accra.

Summary: In collaboration with the Accra Metro Health Directorate, the Ghana Institute of Journalism, and the Ghana Journalists Association, the Centre for Science and Health Communication is undertaking this project to promote health reporting in Ghana. The project involves three main phases:

Phase 1: Focus Group Discussion with journalists and health professionals on challenges and opportunities for health reporting in Ghana.

Phase 2: Training of health professionals and journalists on health reporting.

Phase 3: Creation of a web-based database to facilitate communication among health professionals and journalists to aid health reporting.

Duration: May 2011-September 2012
